At the top of the structure is the University Council. Directly below this position is the Vice-Chancellor and President, followed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). The next level in the hierarchy is occupied by the Director of CHELT.
The structure then branches into three categories: Academic Staff, Professional Staff, and Research Staff (PhD Candidates). Both the Academic Staff and Professional Staff divisions contain similar subdivisions. In each branch, Staff Education is followed by Promoting Excellence and then ANU Online.
