Overall, Asia has the most number of production of potatoes whereas, Europe is considered to consume more potatoes per person. Africa has least produce and consumption in the same year
Africa has least consumption of potatoes which is 14.1 kg per individual. In addition to that, Asia and South and Central America eat approximately same amount of potatoes of nearly 24 kg per person. Comparitively, North America has mediocre usage of potatoes of 57.9 kg by a person.
Furthermore, South and Central America and Africa is having less produce of potatoes of around 16 million tonnes in the year 2006. Similarly, Europe and asia is having a yield of about 126.3 million tonnes and 131.2 million tonnes, respectively. Moreover, North America has 24.7 million tonnes of production in the period.
