Overall, displayed a marked upward trend in both directions , meanwhile Japan and United States showed a volative pattern. However, imports remained largely flat with a slight uptick in both nations.
With respect to China, exports followed a consistently upward course rising from A$10 billion to a high of A$30 billion , overtaking imports in 2008. Imports in 2004 were standind at just below A$20 billion , climbed by A$10 billion by 2008 and than leveled off.
Japan on the other hand, imports and exports both started at A$20 billion before diverging significantly thereafter. Exports showed subdued growth A$30 billion in 2008 before spiking to A$40 billion and than dropping back by A$10 billion.
In contrast, USA showed fewer irregularities. Imports accaunted for A$10 billion in 2004-double that of outflows-after which both figures inched upwards by only a few points only to fall back in 2009.
