The two maps display the transformation of a small village in the west of Ireland from 2000 to the present year.
Overall, the village has undergone a significant change with the construction of a larger number of housing units and restaurants. Another noticeable feature is that the dock from the river has been removed.
In 2000, there was farmland located in the northwest of the village. Four houses and shops were placed to the west of the main road. Furthermore, a single hotel was situated in the vicinity of the highway. The market in close proximity to the road was transformed into restaurants. Moreover, the dock in the sea has been removed at the present time.
The farmland has been turned into a park this year. The number of houses has significantly increased from 4 to 10. However, the shops have not expanded and remain the same in number. The housing and car park have been made to the northwest of the highway. The hotel adjacent to the road has not changed over the period. The road has been extended in the west and northeast sides of the main road at the present time.
