The two diagrams illustrate the routes to the City Hospital over a 3/three-year period. This leads to a broader understanding and visualization of the changes that took place in the area.
Firstly, the most prominent of all changes has to be the increase in roundabouts. In 2007, the city road and Hospital road had zero roundabouts, whereas, looking at 2010, you can see a spike from zero to two roundabouts. An increase in public & staff parking was notable in the 2010 illustration. A bus station was also established in an unallocated area. Car parking was established on the old staff & public parking areas, then turned into only staff parking.
Overall, looking at the illustration, it can be said that the number of cars or people increased from the year 2007 to 2010, and roundabouts were installed/newly made to decrease the traffic on the roads.
