In 1815, there was a forest in Dalton that was later replaced by an industrial zone, along with the construction of several homes by 2015. Additionally, a hospital was built near the industrial zone in 2015. A bridleway that was close to the River Dal was modified with the construction of an airport, and more homes were added near the airport during the same year.

Moreover, in 2015, the Dalton Hall hotel was established in place of the original Dalton Hall that existed in 1815. A Hall Farm was also replaced by a school.
