The maps illustrate the development of the town of Denham between 1986 and 2016.
Overall, it is obvious that the town has become more developed. Furthermore, the significant changes were in housing and infrastructure.
In 1986, Denham was relatively rural, with a bridge was connected the two sides of the river to the north of the town. To the northeast part, there was a large area of farmland and a small number of houses. In addition, there was also a zone of farmland in the southwest areas of the town. In the northwest side of town, there were two shops and post office. Additionally, the primary school and garden, as well as large house were located in the east region.
By 2016, the town had undergone significant redevelopment and became unbanized than in 1986. The river and the bridge were stayed in their original positions. The shops and gardens were rmeoved and then replaced by more houses. The two original farmland were demolished and three new roads were constructed between the houses. Moreover, the large houses were rebuilt into a retirement home.
