The given maps illustrate the changes which took place in Denham since 1986 to the nowadays.
Overall, a comparison of two maps reveals that Denham town became less rural and more urban during the time. The most significant changes were the development of housing in the east side of the river. In fact, although the town went though a major improvement, the only part left unchanged was the west side of river.
In 1986, farmlands were located around the east side of the river which was divides the town, all of them replaced with houses. In addition, there was a past office opposite side of the primary school, also gardens east south side of the map.
In terms of the changes in east side of the town, the area was mostly farmland. However now, farmlands had been knocked down and replaced with houses in order to make town more urban. Also, the shopping in the east side of the river, was changed with numbers of homes. One interestingly development was in the number of the retirement homes, it became 5 from 3 homes during the give period.
