Overall, the chart show majority of the percentage is covered by the population of separated but not divorced and married in both the countries. While only small percentage is accounted for divorced people in these countries.
To begin with, 53% accounted for separated but not divorced group people in Canada, which is only 41% in Australian population. Furthermore, 46% of Australians are married, while Canadian shows only 29% of married population. The group of never married people comprises 7% and 5% for Canada and Australia respectively.
Moreover, widowed population are almost same in both the countries. Very negligible percentage of people are divorced in these countries. In addition, 3% of of people shows same sex marriages in Canada, in contrast this category of the marital status is not seen in Australia.
