The graphic represents the martial status of the population of Canada and Australia in two separate pie charts .
It seems Canada has legalised same sex marriage unlike Australia so 6 sections are seen instead of 5. In Canada the biggest chunk of the population is separated but not yet divorced at 53 percent . On the other hand in Australia there is almost equal number of married and separated but not divorced individuals. If a comparison is made Australia has more married population than Canada with a difference of almost 20 percent. The percentage of single people in the country is almost the same averaging at 6 percent . The rest of the sections take a negligible part of both the pie charts and consist of the widowed and divorced population at 8 percent totally .
In conclusion Australia seems to have a higher marital success rate than Canada as it records higher married citizens and lower separated and divorced people .
