The pie charts which is given below depicts the overall energy usage and electricity generation for the past year.

Overall , Oil is the most consumed form of energy in terms of energy consumption which is followed by coal consumption , whilst , fossil fuels such as coal contributes the most in terms of generation of the world’s total electricity followed up by gas. Renewable energy sources like hydro and nuclear form of energy has low consumption rates , but , in terms of electricity generation both hydro and nuclear are almost similar in percentages.

Taken in consideration , oil is the most consumed form of energy at a round 34% , followed by coal at 25.1% and gas at 20.9%. Renewable sources of energy such as waste , hydro , nuclear are similar in percentage and combustible source being at highest at around 10.6%.

With regards to electricity generation , Coal generates the most power at 39.8% , succeeded by gas at 19.6%. Remaining sources of energies which generate electricity are Hydro(16.1%) , Nuclear ( 15.7%) and oil and others relatively at lower percentage.
