The diagram depicts the artificial process of production and distribution of natural gas by a company to it’s customers.
It is clear that, it consists of seven major steps from exacavation to final delivery. It includes sourcing, underground storage, regional storage, tankers, wagons storage, retail storage and final delivery to retail customer.
The first step is sourcing the materials required which can be done by three different ways i.e. gas well to gas plant, oil well to refinery or directly imported. The gas undergoes main underground storage. It is then transferred to regional storage through pipeline. Tankers with the capacity of 4000 litres were used for further storage and delivered to wagons having capacity of 2000 litres.
The final step is the retail storage where 120,000 litres of gas can be stored which can be delivered with the help of delivery truck. The retail customer finally get their product.
