The two maps illustrate the current layout of Farmshire Village along its main road and the proposed development plans for the year 2024.
Overall, the village is set to undergo significant modernization and expansion of facilities. The most notable changes involve the removal of natural features (woods and trees) to make way for recreational and commercial infrastructure, specifically a soccer field and a supermarket, alongside the introduction of new community services.
Looking at the area north of the main road, the landscape is currently dominated by three farms and a wooded area in the northeast corner. By 2024, the woods are planned to be cleared to accommodate a new Community Soccer Field. While the two farms in the northwest sector will remain largely unchanged, the third farm, situated directly south of the northernmost farm, will be converted into a specialized Poultry Farm.
South of the road, the changes are more extensive. The existing Village Store in the southwest corner is set to be demolished and replaced by a building for Employment Assistance. Additionally, the trees currently standing between the store and the Cooperative Bank will be removed to construct a new Supermarket. In contrast, the Cooperative Bank and the Prayer Centre, located in the southeast corner, will remain in their original locations with no planned alterations.
