The two maps illustrate the current layout of Farmshire Village and the proposed developmental changes scheduled for completion by 2024.
Overall, the village is set to undergo a significant shift from a rural, agricultural setting to a more developed, service-oriented community. While the core infrastructure and some religious and financial institutions will remain intact, there is a clear trend toward enhancing local employment and recreational facilities.
Regarding the area northwest of the main road, the current landscape of three farms and a wooded area is projected to be substantially modified. Two of the original farms are expected to remain; however, the third is slated for conversion into a poultry farm. Furthermore, the adjacent woods will be cleared to make way for a new community soccer field, introducing a recreational element to the northern sector.
On the eastern and southern sides of the main artery, the cooperative bank and the prayer centre are both earmarked to stay constant. In contrast, the central region will see the establishment of a new supermarket. Finally, in the southernmost part of the village, the existing village store is proposed to be demolished, with an employment assistance center being erected in its place.
