Comapared with 1975, the figure was significantly higher in 2003. The passenger age of 24, which had used cruise ship in Uk stood at 0.5%, which rose to 10% in 2003. The figure for age-group between 25 and 34 was 0.3% in 1975, however its percentage grew to almost 13% over time. Moreover, britain’s cruise traveller whose age starts from 35 to 44 accounted 20% by the end of the period.
By contrast, the figure for age 45-53 grew sharply by 11 percentage point to 12%, before reaching 22%. The figure for traveller age of 55-64 rose from 28% to approximately 35% in 2003. By the end of the period, the figure for age 64 rose dramatically to 50% and made up largest passenger who travelled on Britain cruise.
