The two maps illustrate the layout of the Lynwhich College in 2006 and now.
Overall, following the redevelopment, the college has significantly altered with a lot of facilities for students added.
In 2006, the site was somewhat not well connected and was aimed only for the education purposes. Coming from the road that stretches from the west to east , students may leave their cars in the car park by the end of the road. After leaving their car, they can see a greenery to the west and libriary to the south. Once in the libriary, they may observe the sports field furher to the south or take a walk on a path which leads to two college buildings: the first was on the first turn from the path, while the second one was on the end of the path.
After the redevelopment, the college has become much functional and some recreational facilities for students were added. Now, students may get there by a bus, as the bus stop has been built near the road. Almost half of the car park’s area was given to accommodate students’ bikes. Instead of the library, which was relocated to the west south of the campus, there is a bigger building for sports center, as the sports field was decreased in sizes. Now, all facilities are connected by several paths to the cafeteria right in the center of the campus where students can gather and have something to do outside of class.
