Career choice is one of the most crucial decision in adolescent’s life. The aim of my project is to elucidate on what are the dream jobs of today’s teenagers in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found a table with the results of a survey. I am going to analyze the data and express my opinion.
According to the statistics, there are numerous jobs that today’s teenagers want to work. A large proportion of the respondents reckon that “Doctor” and “Lawyer” are the most likely jobs for the respondents. (28,3% and 24,5% respectively) “Actor” is also a quite popular answer among the people in Zetland (20,6%), whereas “Teacher” appears to be the least common response. (10,7%)
It is noticeable that there is a significant difference between the third and the fifth chosen options: “Actor” is 9,9% greater than “Teacher.” It is not surprising because numerous teenagers dreaming to be famous and having a lot of fans, whereas teaching cannot provide you widespread popularity and fame.
Regrettably, there are certain challenges that teenagers may encounter with choosing of profession. For example, it can be really tough to choose a career path and find a job that adolescent will respect and enjoy. To solve this problem, teenagers should have a session with a psychologist, where they can find their strengths in some areas and make a decision based on their experience.
In conclusion, i firmly believe that thinking about your future career is significant, as job is a really important part of our lives and our career choice will play a crucial role in our future.
