Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins,
I hope you both are doing well. Firstly, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for inviting me on Chris’s surprise birthday party. Secondly, I will not be able to attend this event because I will have to give my joining in a new firm .
I believe that Chris will be amused and thrilled by this surprise event on his special day, because I know him since childhood, he loves to do dance and always ready to meet friends and family. It will be a perfect plan for him to unwind and relax , especially after meeting a horrible accident which was happened one month before.
I am not happy with the fact that I could not be a part of this special occasion, with my best friend. Because, on that day, I will be joining my new corporate’s office as a senior manager, as this was my dream job to do. So, I will be busy with my new job responsibilities.
However, I am planning a surprise meet-up to join Chris on his golf tournament in Sydney, next week . I hope he will be surprised to see me on his finale of game, and hopefully we will enjoy his victory together along with his belated birthday party.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
John Smith
