Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins,
Thank you very much for inviting me to join Chris’ birthday party. I am thrilled to be invited to celebrate his 18’s birthday next week. I believe that Chris must be amazed by this astonishing celebration. All of us know how much Chris enjoys beach at the summer time. It is so attractive to throw him a party at his favorite beach with his beloved family and friends.
Despite the eager to meeting you all, I am not able to participate in this party due to an ad-hoc issue of my dad. My father got injury of his back pain accidentally during work yesterday so he had to stay in the hospital for a week. Since my mom’s having a hectic work schedule, I am responsible for taking care of my dad in the coming week. I sincerely hope that my dad can recover speedily from this incident.
Although we cannot meet at the party, I do want to visit you and Chris in the coming Thanksgiving. I’d love to invite you to take a road trip with my family along the Great Ocean Road. Please let me know if you are available in coming fall. It will be an unforgettable memory for us!
