Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to cancel my recent part-time course at your school.

It is the TOEFL course, which started on the 25th of May 2026. It is held in a large room at the Cairo training center, lasts for 8 weeks, and is taught by Mr. Ahmed Saleh. My booking number is 123456.

I booked this training program as a requirement to apply for a PhD at New York University in the USA; however, recently, I have been unable to travel to the United States as an Egyptian. This is because Egyptians are banned from traveling to the USA due to political issues between the two countries.

Nevertheless, my second plan is to immigrate to Canada and take this degree from Toronto University. They request an IELTS test instead of TOEFL; therefore, could I take an IELTS training course at your center, rather than taking a refund? This will help me get my target band, which is band 8 overall.
