Dear manager,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request a sabbatical from my position as an english teacher in order to persue personal growth opportunities through travel and skill development
Over the past few years, I have been deeply committed to my role and have gained valuavle experience However, I feel that taking a short break will allow me to recharge and return with a fresh perspective. My goal during this time is to travel to several countries to broaden my cultural understanding and enhance both my personal and professional development.
During the sabbatical, I plan to enroll in a few intensive courses related to project management and digital marketing—areas that are increasingly relevant to our work. I believe these skills will not only benefit my own career growth but also contribute meaningfully to our team’s future projects.
To ensure a smooth transition and continuity of work, I am happy to prepare a detailed handover plan and provide training to a colleague who can manage my responsibilities in my absence. I will also remain available remotely for urgent matters, should the need arise.
I am confident that this time away will be beneficial for both myself and the company in the long run. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and work out the best plan moving forward.
Thank you very much for considering my request.
warm regards,
Anyelo Meza
English teacher
