Dear Jacob

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m really sorry to tell you at such short notice but I know you understand me like you always do. I intend to through a surprise birthday party for John on his twenty-fifth anniversary. Since it’s his silver jubilee, I’m craving to make it a day he will live to remember for the rest of his life. As part of major attractions for the event, I wish to hire the local jazz band, The Ensemble, his favorite.

I’m aware of the fact that your brother is one of the guitarists at the band. As a result, I need your help to book the group for John’s special night. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. If the booking is confirmed, I will organise a live video during the event in which the group will make a special mention of you and John, as a token of appreciation.
