Dear everyone,
I hope this letter meet you well. This is to inform you of the details concerning our eeekend hiking trip.
The hiking will be at absu mountains in Uturu. The environment is very serene with greenery and few springs. However, the terrain is very difficult while climbing but not so much during descent; you may have to prepare yourself mentally.
To navigate the slippery terrain, roughly teethed boots are necessary. You will also need a backpack filled with other essentials like a camera to capture the beautiful scenery and ropes to connect trees where necessary. Light cotton clothes will be an added advantage as the weather forecast shows the weather will be hot that day. Water and refreshments will be provided for every participant.
As earlier mentioned during our phone conversation, the hiking will take place on the 4th of February, 2026. All participants are expected to converge at the state sports stadium in okigwe by 9am as the bus which will convey us to the Absu mountains will leave 30 minutes after. However, if you do not join the bus for any reason, you are allowed to go with your private car as long as you arrive the mountain before 10am.
