Dear Mr. smith

I am Andrea Pinco, a second-year student of your course of “business management”. Last month I took part at the Group B in the class. The project that was assigned to us was named “the effect of green ecomony on the environment” and I had to develop a complex analysis on the local companies. The deadline was fixed on July 31st, so we had only one month to prepare the presentation.

Working as driver, to afford the fee of the course, I have to stop my studies every day from 8 o’clock PM until 22 o’clock PM. The time that I could spend on this project was not enough to finish it before the deadline, so today I am still working on it and I calculate that other three days are needed to conclude the project.

Saying that, I am writing to apologize to you for being late, and to ask you the three days I mentioned above.

Your understanding and your help would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to presenting to the entire class my project.
