Dear Mr. Smith,

I hope you are doing well. I am your marking student Gurleen and my student Identity is 2130085. I am writing this letter in regard to missed assignment that you have given us last week.

I have not submitted that project yet, due to some uncontrollable circumstances. Along with studies, I work part-time as a Pizza cook. And last week while working, i got cut at my index finger and for that i had to get stitches. Doctor told me that i cannot move my hand at least for four days.

Moreover, it has become difficult to do anything on my own. I even called my friends to assist me with the homework. They tried their best, but we were not able to finish it on time because they had to do their projects as well.

Currently, I am working on it and I think it would take me two or three days more to complete it. I hope you can give extension of three days for submitting the assignment. I have attached the doctor notes as well, so that you can trust me.
