Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally bring to your attention an issue that has been causing me considerable inconvenience.
Each day, upon returning home around 5 PM, I look forward to a period of rest. However, I am frequently disturbed by persistent noises, which I believe originate from your children. These disturbances make it difficult for me to relax and often leave me feeling agitated.
As you are aware, we have been neighbors for the past ten years, and I have always valued the cordial and respectful relationship we share. I sincerely hope that this continues in the future. I also wish to emphasize that Sue and Alex are wonderful children, and I have always regarded them as well-behaved and polite. However, I would greatly appreciate it if you could ensure that they remain quiet during the hours of 5 to 7 PM, as this would allow me to rest without interruption.
As a potential solution, I would like to suggest that they engage in an alternative activity during this time. Given that our neighborhood has an excellent swimming pool, perhaps enrolling them in a swimming session or another extracurricular activity could be beneficial. This would not only provide them with an enjoyable and constructive pastime but would also help mitigate the issue at hand.
I trust that we can resolve this matter in a mutually agreeable manner, and I appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this further.
Yours sincerely,
Steve
