Dear Beckham,

I am writing to say sorry about the camera you lent me for my vacation. I am very sorry because I damaged it while I was using it.

Yesterday, I was taking some photos near the beach. I put the camera on a small table, but it fell onto the ground when I moved my bag. The camera still works, but the lens is cracked, so I cannot take clear photos.

I feel very sorry for this problem because you were kind enough to lend me your camera. I know you may need it soon, and I do not want to cause you any trouble.

I will take the camera to a repair shop this week and pay for the repair. If it cannot be fixed, I will buy you a new camera of the same value. I will also keep you informed about the repair.

I hope you can forgive me. Thank you for understanding.
