Dear Mr. Johnson,

I hope you are doing well. I am Sharon Christina with a student number 1012595. I am pursuing the fire protection and safety course under your guidance which is conducted in the evenings on weekdays.

I am writing to inform you that I have been hired as an Interior Designer at Home Depot for a full-time position and I am thinking of dropping out of the course because of the same reason. Since it is a retail store that opens from 6 am to 9 pm on weekdays, my schedule for the full-time job is in rotation mode. To add to this point, fire Protection and Safety is a master course that needs proper and detailed research on the fire safety code book. As a new Designer in the store as a full-time employee, I will be in training for the first three weeks which makes it more difficult for me to attend the course and to get good grades. As a result, I am willing to leave the course for the semester. I hope you’ll understand my situation and will grant me to leave the course with your best wishes for my new job.
