Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in being a part of your local community group. I recently moved here from Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in Finance. I am going to be starting as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs this fall.

I am an adventurous person who likes to travel, enjoys trying different cuisines, and getting to know people with different cultures and backgrounds. I am into watching Formula 1, cricket, and football.

I would love to join this group and get to know each and every one of you. By being a part of this organization, I believe that I will be a part of something bigger than myself, which is community. I will belong and, at the same time, cherish the friendships and long-term relationships that I will create with the people there.

I am an open and honest person who adores sharing his life stories and making people feel at home. I believe that I am easy to connect with, which is one of the stronger qualities in a person. By my being part of this organisation, I can assure you that I would put in the time and effort to create a welcoming and cherishable environment.
