Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement for a local tour guide, that was published in the Hilltown magazine, to express my interest in this offer.

I am a third-year student majoring in Tourism Management and History, and I am interested in a part-time job. This position is an incredible resource to get hands-on-job experience and dive into different aspects of the work.

I believe I am a perfect candidate for the job because of my knowledge of the area and great social skills. I have been living here my whole life and know all the landmarks, cafés, restaurants and shops. In addition to English, I am also fluent in Spanish and can speak German.

I also have relevant experience for this job position. Twice a month, I organize excursions for elderly people as part of our local charity program to support mental health of the older generation.
