Dear Mr and Mrs Pony,

My name is Lucas. I am writing this letter in response to the advertisement that you posted for hiring a babysitter in the “Daily News” on May 1st.

I would like to be considered for the position you are offering. I have much experience about how to take care of little babies. I really love to stay with them. Since I have two children and I still remember the time I spent with them when they are kids. Those are wonderful and precious memories for me. To better took care of them, I even gained babysitter qualifications in order to learn the knowledge about baby care. So that I am familiar with how to deal with them, such as feeding, cleaning and teaching. In addition, I have a good temper and am patient enough to tackle all the baby’s daily routines.

I am preparing for a college exam in next year. I have plenty of time to live with your child except every morning, because I have to go to language school.
