Dear Fred,I hope you are doing well. I sincerely apologize for not coming over to help you with your garden at the promised time. I feel terrible for letting you down.
The truth is, I became completely occupied with a critical business meeting with an international client regarding a brand deal. The project was extremely important for my company, and I had to spend the entire week preparing for it. I even made a note to remind myself, but with all the workload, it completely slipped my mind.
If the gardening work is still unfinished, I would be happy to come by next week to help you complete it. I have a week off as a reward for finalizing that deal, so I will have plenty of time. Please let me know what day works best for you.
Once again, I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience, and I’ll make sure not to disappoint you again.
Best regards,
Abu Syed
