I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to sincerely apologise for the damage to your book “The Psychology of Success” that I borrowed last month. I feel truly awful about what happened and wanted to explain the situation honestly.
Last weekend, I was reading the book while having a cup of coffee, and unfortunately, I accidentally spilled some on the pages. Although I immediately tried to dry them, a few of the pages got stained and slightly wrinkled. I know how much you value your books, and I feel terrible for being so careless.
Please let me make it right. I’ve already checked several bookstores and found the same edition online. I would be more than happy to order a brand-new copy for you, or if you prefer, compensate you in another way. Just let me know what would make you feel comfortable – I truly want to fix my mistake.
Once again, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. I appreciate your understanding and promise to be much more careful with anything I borrow from you in the future.
Warm regards,
Khojiakbar
