I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your train station. On 2 December 2025, I booked train tickets a week in advance for a trip from Guelph to Oshawa. However, when I reached at the station to board the train, I was informed by the staff that the tickets were invalid and could not be used.
What added to my frustration was the unhelpful attitude of the staff. Despite my attempts to explain the situation and provide the receipt of booking confirmation, they were dismissive and provided no constructive solution or alternative solution. This has made the experience extremely stressful, especially since I had important commitments that day.
I would appreciate it if your company can investigate this matter and provide either a full refund for the invalid tickets or issue replacement tickets for the same journey. Additionally, I suggest that your staff receive better training in customer service to ensure that customers are treated politely and effectively in similar situations.
