Dear Sir Wallace,

Referring to the advert posted on your restaurant’s webpage, I would like to apply for an open position your chain offers. As for my work experience, I started my own food truck business in 2016, but it failed due to financial struggles. Later I was employed at my local burger restaurant where I worked as a supplier for the diner.

However, I am currently in search of a new workplace since I am moving houses shortly and will not be able to commute to my current workplace.

For the working hours, I kindly request for my shift to start anywhere near noon, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If that does not fit other employees’ shifts, please inform me about any other times available.
