Thanks for your letter. I’ve heard that you are still deciding whether to go to a college. I understand that finishing another program in school can be helpful for your immigration plan, but I would say that it may not be your best choice for now.

First of all, I think that continuing to study in college can be unenjoyable for you. You’ve just completed a demanding bachelor’s degree. I still remember how tired and overwhelmed you were during the final semester. Therefore, going to college means more assignments, difficult exams, and extra tuition fees which can be even more stressful.

In my opinion, starting to look for a job is the best option for you. Valuable work experience can make you more independent and mature. Also, salary can cover your basic living costs like rent and transportation fees, relieving your financial burden.

Speaking of job, I would recommend that you should search for positions like junior data analyst or data scientist since you are really talented at statistics and programming. These fields suit your background and personality well.
