Dear Kalpna,

I hope you are doing well. I received your letter and completely understand the dilemma you are facing. I have given it a lot of thought and decided that getting a job would be the better option for you. I don’t think that colleges are made for someone like you. You hate books and are more interested in the on-field practice and experience. In my opinion, if you go to college, you will feel suffocated and won’t be able to fit in.

On the other hand, getting a job that interests you will not only provide you with the satisfaction of accomplishment but also some money. Your passion for learning practical applications of concepts makes you special.

I think that you should look for jobs like a sales associate, a store manager, or even an area manager. There are some companies which prefer business mindsets like yours over degrees earned in colleges. I think you should explore this field and grow gradually.
