Hi Eli,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing a letter to apologise for the damage to the wall in your living room that I caused, and I want to make it right for you.
On Saturday evening, I was about to turn on the light near the side table in the living room. The room was dark, and I didn’t know where the switch was. I nudged the side table in front of me with my elbow, and the displays on top of it fell down. I took care of it immediately – however, I didn’t notice that the door might have scratched the wall next to it. For that, I’m deeply sorry that I was careless. I understand that I should have told you about this sooner.
If you’re okay with this, I will call the builder to come and fix the issue tomorrow. I know a friend whom I can rely on for this matter. I will need the specification of the wall paint number to match the current color, though.
Let me know what you think about my suggestion. Hope to hear from you soon.
With love,Brenda
