Dear Simran,

I am writing this letter to apologize for the vase I accidentally broke during my stay at your house while you were away on vacations. I am truly sorry for my mistake as I know the vase held a place in your heart as it was a gift from your aunt.

Firstly I would like to explain how it happened as this was during night time and I woke up for a glass of water and it was pitch black and I hit the table because I was half asleep and the vase fell from the table.

Furthermore, I am deeply regretful because this vase meant so much to you beyond from the monetory value as this was a souviner your aunt bought from a antique shop in Italy and it was really a piece of history apart from just being a decorative peice.

I sincerely hope you will forgive me for this and I am currently looking for a same vase and I have found the antique dealer online and I am constantly in touch with them and they have assured me they will be able to find the exact same one.
