Dear Maria,
I was so sorry to hear that you’re finding it difficult to settle into your new school. It’s completely normal to feel that way after such a big change, so please don’t worry too much.
I have a couple of suggestions that might help. First, try to talk to the people who sit next to you in your classes. Just asking a simple question about the homework or the lesson can be a great way to start a conversation. Another really good idea is to join a club or a sports team. This is a perfect way to meet people who like the same things as you. Maybe you could join the art club or the football team?
Also, try to get involved in any school activities or events, like a school play or a fair. It’s a more relaxed environment to get to know everyone. Most importantly, just be yourself and give it some time. I’m sure people will see how amazing you are.
I really hope things get easier for you soon.
Best wishes,
Anna
