The diagram below illustrates the process of shaping bricks.
Overall, the process consists of three main phases: collecting clay with a digger, forming and drying the bricks, heating and packaging them into blocks. The process involves specialized machines.
First, clay is collected by a digger and sifted through a metal grid on a roller. At this stage, sand and water are added to grinded clay to further brick shaping. To form the bricks, this mixture is pressed into molds or cutted by a wire cutter.
In the next phase, blocks of bricks are put into a drying oven for 24-48 hours. Afterwards, bricks are heated in a kiln, starting at a moderate to a high temperature. Heated bricks pass through the cooling chamber After bricks are ready they are packed and delivered.
