The two maps show the significant changes that have taken place in the town of Youngsville in New Zealand from 1980 to 2005. In general, it appears that, in 2005, Youngsville has become a much more industrialized and modern city with far more factories and skyscrapers than before.

One of the interesting changes is that the north and south sides of the town used to be a landscape with more trees, but the trees have been cut down and transformed into a park, while in 1980, there were a lot of houses on the northeast of the city, but they have been replaced with a stadium with wide parking spaces and a railway track. In 2005, the marina was built near the railway station, which is near the old railway track.

If we look at the south of the map, although the school remains in the exact location and buildings near the river, the surrounding areas that used to be housing units and many trees have been converted into factories and warehouses in 2005.
