Overall, people visiting these areas almost only rose. While Europe had the most number of tourists, Middle East was visited least.

Firstly, 18.2 million individuals went to Africa in 1990, and this had increased by above 2 million in 1995 and 6.1 million in 2000 before 28.7 million tourists travelled in 2005. America was travelled by 80.5 million people, which had grew 118.2 million in 2000 before there was a 5-million decrease. There were great rises in the digits of people who visited Asia and the pacific, going up from 60.2 million in 1990 to 135.8 million. Between 1990 and 1995, the biggest growth (approximately 100 million) was experienced by Europe, which rose from 280.2 million to 390.3 million, followed by 2 small increases to reach above 400 million. Commencing with nearly 10 million tourists, Middle East encountered several relatively insignificant rises, reaching 15.8 million people in 2005. The number of visitors increased from around 450 million to 693.7 million ones, in total.
