The table below shows number of tourists on international travel in 15 years period, measured in million of people.
It is noticable that, people mostly visited Europe in all years. Also, the less popular appeared Middle East. General tendency shows increase in number of people in all regions from 1990 to 2005.
The most intresting for tourists appeared to be America, Asia and the pacific and Europe. In 1990 the first one had 80.5 millions of people, second about 60 and last 280. In the next 5 years population raised on about 30% in each of three regions. In 2000 number of tourists in America and Europe remained constant, but in Asia and the pacific increased up to 120 millions. By 2005, America lost about 5 millions of tourists, other two continents increased population on 10 millions.
In the least pivotal group appeared Africa and Middle East. From 1990 to 1995 the former grew to 20 millions, and in the next 10 years shoot up to about 30 millions. The latter surged on 2 millions every 5 years and in 2005 has reached 15.8 millions.
