The table illustrates the percentage of school children attending four different types of secondary school between 2000 and 2009. It is evident that whereas the community schools experienced a marked increase in the proportion of those attending their institutions over the period, the others saw a corresponding decline.
The Voluntary-controlled School had the highest number of attendees in 2000 which more than twice time others and in 2005 which higher than the second one 6 percents. However in 2009, the school that had the highest number of student in this event was the Community Schools. The data that was seen from the table is the number of attendees at Specialist Schools slightly decreased; Grammar schools also decreased and Voluntary-controlled Schools dramatically dropped from 2000.
In conclusion, only the Community Schools that have the number of participants climbed per year.
