The map diagram belows the layout of the village of Ryemouth 31 years ago and how it looks nowadays.

Overall, the whole area underwent significant changes. It is evident the most noticeable developments have happened on Western and Eastern sides of the map.

In 1995, the west part of the area was less developed, compared with 2026. The number of houses which were located alongside to the main road has increased with another one. In addition, also one road has constructed on the left side from the main one. Two houses has been built abjacent to it. The shops on the bottom of the west side have been replaced by the restaurant.

Another considerable change was the transformation of Eastern part. Another house has been added on the right side of the road. The farmland has been replaced by the golf area. Furthemore, the tennis court has been changed by the spacious forest park. By 2026, the car park has been set next to the hotel.

On the other hand, the south area was expanding mentionally by adding the fishing port on the sea. During the period, the fish market has been removed and converted in new aparments. Café has remained unchanged.
