Overall, it is clearly seen that watching TV was the most favourite leisure activity of Europeans in both years. In addition, playing computer games became the second highest proportion in 1995, despite it was not even exist in 1985.

As can been seen, despite a slight decrease in watching TV’s proportion, it remained the most done activity in two years. Additionally, almost a quarter of European adults spent their spare time by eating out in 1985, however this percentage dropped to 8% in 1995. Comparing with 1985, European adults spent less their leisure time talking with their families in 1995.

Regardless of the fact there was no information about computers in 1985, the percentage of computer lovers exceeded a quater of Europeans in 1995. Also, in 1985 , only one fifth of European adults spent their free time talking with friends, nevertheless this percentage increased by 5% in 1995.
