Hello,

I was supposed to help organize the community event later on. But, due to unforseen circumstances i have to inform you that i will not be able to partake in the event as a volunteer. I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but i have tried my uttermost best to attend and fix the problem that makes me unable to attend, but due to the severity of the situation it will not be possible.

To better the situation, i have talked to my friend who says he might be of help during the event. I have attached his contact information at the end of this letter, so please reach out to him and discuss how he would be able to help in my absence.

Thank you for orginally giving me the oppertunity to volunteer. And again, i am terribly sorry that i have let you down with me predicted absence. Hope the situation resolves for you, and wish you the very best during your event!
