Dear Vaibhav,

I hope this letter finds you well. It’s been ages since we last talked, I hope you got that job you were talking about last time, and I really amazed that you decided to learn a new sport. I have seen you playing cricket in our school playground, and can definitely suggest you to try football this time, as you are very good at team sports.

Learning strategy could be different for everyone, but I would suggest that first make yourself comfortable with rules and techniques, which can be learned by watching youtube videos or reading some online blogs. Once you are confident with those fundamentals, you can take membership of ‘Ottawa Sports Club’, they usually train beginners from the scratch, and place them to a team where they can practice.

Nevertheless, if you are not ready to join strangers, why don’t you come with me to my local club every Wednesday evening. Please don’t forget to go through online tutorial, and bring a pair of good shoes, everything else such as registration and arrangement are on me. Within a month, you will be an expert, and you will remember and thank me forever.
