Dear John,
I hope you’re doing well. It’s been so long since we’ve last talked. It’s great that you’ve been offered a place on a course at AUC. I’d be more than happy to assist you in finding a place to live.
During the time that I spent at AUC, I rented an apartment close to campus. It was a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom flat, which was quite spacious since I lived there alone.
I was able to find this flat by doing an extensive research on the internet. However, you don’t need to do that, as there is a very helpful website called Property Finder that’ll do all the work for you. It has several rental options to choose from, and you’ll be able to find what you need in no time.
However, there are common mistakes that I noticed other students make when choosing a new accommodation. One mistake is that they tend to rent unnecessary large apartments. This type of accommodation is hard to maintain and is costly. Another thing to avoid is to choose a building without an elevator, especially if you live on a high floor. It will be exhausting and time consuming to use the stairs everytime you leave or return to your flat.
Let me know if you need any further information. Good luck with your course.
Best wishes,
Mark
